Secret Coast
As presented in J. Michael’s latest book, “Balanced on a Moment,” this box set includes scenes from along a little-known stretch of U.S. Highway 90 between Pascagoula, Mississippi, and New Orleans’ Lake Pontchartrain. Most of the images in this set were featured at the Ground Zero Museum in Waveland, Miss., in the 2022 National Endowment of the Arts-sponsored exhibit titled “Secret Coast.” Each deckled-edge cut illustration is signed and numbered; starts as an original photograph that has been individually augmented with India ink, gesso, acrylic, or oil paint; is printed on archival-quality paper; and comes wrapped in a clear protective acid-free sleeve.
